Road to Financial Awesomeness!

If you didn’t know by now, I really enjoy talking about money. How to save it, how to make it, and just overall wealth building. At 24 years old, I’ve been able to achieve a 50% savings rate and still enjoy life at the same time. How, you may ask? Well I’m going to show you some steps that have helped me get to where I am today.  Continue reading “Road to Financial Awesomeness!”

Hang Gliding

There I was on a brisk morning in November. It had been below freezing just that night and now with the sun rising it was warming up just a tad. I was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans. A not so smart decision as the breeze went right through it, but I had nothing else. You could say I was unprepared or hadn’t planned ahead, but I was still excited nonetheless. I was about to go hang gliding for the first time!  Continue reading “Hang Gliding”

Chattanooga, TN

This post is long overdue. Back in November, I had an awesome adventure up to Chattanooga, TN. Also known as the “Scenic City” and I have to say that I think that’s the perfect name for it. Looking Towards 2018

Two days in and I have to say it’s been a pretty good year so far! Haha

2017 was an unbelievably great year for me! I believe it was so great because I made it that way. Of course there were times that weren’t great but that was usually because of something I did or didn’t do. Either way, I was pretty much in control of how I wanted my life to go and what I wanted to do. I’d like to work on that even more in 2018.  Continue reading “Looking Towards 2018”

What the Future Holds

We can plan, plan, plan and say that we’re never going to do something or say “that’s never going to happen.” Then it happens. The future is unpredictable no matter how often we plan and I’d say more often than not, the more we plan something the more likely it’s not going to happen our way. (Probably because we planned so much that any little thing that goes wrong we notice). Maybe it’s better to live with fewer expectations. I’d argue that I’m usually happier when I don’t have expectations. That’s neither here nor there however. I’m just starting to go on a rant, but I do want to write about planning and my future for a bit.  Continue reading “What the Future Holds”
